Tempest generating sets are held in high regard throughout the industry.

Our background is in diesel application engineering which requires a product designed and engineered to suit a particular application. The company today is still structured with a strong engineering bias and the products we manufacture bear the hallmark of this strict engineering discipline.

We carry this system of design and manufacture through to our standard product range, where they are designed by our own engineering team using our own designed and manufactured control systems to ensure optimum performance and lifespan.

Each set is then proven under various load conditions to measure performance before it is released to the customer.

Our soundproof canopies are also tested to ensure adequate airflows to ensure that engine performance is not affected and to verify the claimed sound attenuation level.

We have our own mechanical and electrical engineering teams to fully support the product before, during and after production.

Tempest generating sets are built using premium quality components throughout and we only use genuine Perkins, Cummins and Volvo engines with Mecc-Alte and Leroy Somer alternators.
