Our head office, manufacturing and distribution centre is located in a new business park development on the outskirts of Kingston upon Hull in East Yorkshire.
We chose this location to benefit from the quick access from the M62, the Humber Bridge or Humberside Airport.
Clients and guests are welcomed to our modern visitor reception suites which are fully equipped for meetings and product training.
The factory and warehousing was built purposely for the efficient & volume manufacture of diesel generating sets and for internal storage of the unrivaled stock of engines and alternators.
The main production area consists of ten individual production lines.
Each is line optimised for the production of particular sized sets. This focus gives us the production efficiency and speed that enables us to compete on the Worldwide platform.
Built-in production flexibility combined with the huge stock of engines and alternators enables us to react to volume impact orders with a minimum lead time.
Out test facility is fully equipped with modern, calibrated load banks totaling 3.0 MW. We can load test multiple sets in synchronisation.
We also have a remote cooling system which enables us to load test sets with heat exchangers up to 3000 kva.
Every single Tempest generating set is tested in accordance with ISO8528 before it’s released to the customer.
The large capacity warehousing enables us to hold one of the largest stock of engines and alternators in Europe.
Careful stock rotation is carried out strictly to a first in first out discipline.
The despatch area has modern forklift trucks and multiple loading bays which gives us the ability to accommodate several 40 ft containers at a time.
